HOW TO AVOID BEING COUCH POTATO AND YET ENJOY THE TELEVISED SPORTS?????

LOTS OF MEN ACROSS THE GLOBE ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT SPORTS AND ESPECIALLY TELIVISED SPORTS.

In India for example cricket holds the limelight and TRPs hits the sky…. But it also sadly indicates so many Indians and many others across the globe are victim of COUCH POTATO SYNDROME.

TELIVISED sports paradoxically/ ironically instead of encouraging outdoor activities encourages indoor couch potato status….. People are more glued to TVs than to sports ground.

Even the young people are victims…..who are very prone to develop obesity, diabetes, heart attack at very young age.

So, what we can do………….as these sports on television sounds so gud to watch????

Here are some points to help general public to give them some healthy life styles and longer periods of life years:

1.       Restrict watching TV for less than 1 hour per day….

2.       BUT you say foot ball match or t20 IPL cricket is more than 1 hour and you miss out the entertainment……then all you have to do is to take vow to not to sit on couch or anything else for whole duration of the sporting events.

3.       What will you do standing…????? Why don’t you do dumbbell  weight lifting or resistance training at those times???? Your inspiration is right in front of you ; your sporting heroes look how fit they are and try to emulate or follow their fitness level.

4.       Why don’t you sit in front of TV on a exercise cycle????keep pedaling till the game gets over…you will be lot fitter

5.       For that matter even running on a trade mill is also equivalent.

Enjoy your favorite game on TV but at same time keep exercising.
